Job summary

Shaner Hotels in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Night Auditor to balance daily revenue and support front desk operations during the overnight shift. You will ensure guest satisfaction while handling check-ins/check-outs and maintain cash controls.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Accounting background a plus.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work Friday & Saturday overnight hours.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
• The Night Auditor balances revenue and expenses and performs front desk functions during the audit shift.
