Job summary

Residence Inn Norwalk, part of Shaner Hotels, seeks a Night Auditor to balance daily revenue and expenses and perform front desk tasks during the audit shift. Must provide excellent guest service and communication with guests and staff.

The role requires availability for overnight Friday and Saturday hours, along with basic accounting and cash handling duties in a busy downtown Norwalk hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Accounting background a plus.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work Friday & Saturday overnight hours.
• Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
