Job summary

Best Western Plus Executive Residency - Jackson, Tennessee is seeking a Night Auditor for Friday to Sunday shifts (11:00 pm–7:00 am). The role balances nightly front desk responsibilities, reservations, nightly reports, and security checks to ensure a smooth overnight operation.

You will register guests, balance transactions, run reports, and assist guests during the overnight hours while maintaining brand standards and professionalism in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive hotel or related field experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to solve problems and resolve guest issues, including emergencies.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems, company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Performs well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Capable of handling financial information and basic arithmetic.
• Self-managed with strong listening and communication skills.
• Maintains composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling for overnight shifts.
• Maintain proper uniform and grooming per brand standards.
• Run all reports for Food and Beverage audit as required.
• Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
• Balance the day's work including transactions and folio/receipts.
• Maintain cashiering responsibilities per Front Office procedures.
• Fulfill all Front Office functions between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Follow up on nightly security checks and building/guest area locks.
• Handle guest requests nightly from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Maintain proper record keeping (logbooks, etc.) per Athena Hospitality standards.
• Prepare and distribute the Daily Flash Report as needed.
• Transfer master or house accounts as necessary.
• Distribute workload as directed by SOPs.
