Job Summary

Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements. Provide information and assistance to all guests and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Maintain complete knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  2. Ensure standards are maintained at a high level daily.
  3. Maintain knowledge of equipment use and assist with housekeeping and bellman functions as needed.
  4. Assist with newspaper and shoe shine procedures.
  5. Monitor guest requests and room status, assist with amenities, and check for no-shows.
  6. Ensure guest needs are anticipated and responded to promptly, maintaining positive relations.
  7. Resolve guest complaints and ensure satisfaction.
  8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  9. Know hotel features, room types, rates, and daily occupancy.
  10. Manage guest accounts, process check-ins and check-outs, and handle payment procedures.
  11. Assist with guest luggage and VIP services.
  12. Record and communicate guest requests, complaints, and messages accurately.
  13. Handle reservations, room assignments, and overbooking issues.
  14. Generate reports, reconcile accounts, and manage cash and bank securely.
  15. Perform other duties as required.
Experience

Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent in a luxury hotel or customer service role preferred.

  • Teamwork and confidentiality.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PMS, and POS systems.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Education and Language

High school diploma required; fluency in English; additional languages preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform physical movements, lift weight, and communicate effectively.
