Sonesta Hotels International Corporation in Scottsdale is seeking a Relief Night Auditor to join the Finance team. You will welcome late-arriving guests, support overnight operations, and ensure daily financial activity is accurate for handoff to the morning team.

This role suits a dependable, detail-oriented night owl comfortable working independently, balancing guest service with front desk duties, nightly reconciliation, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Previous Front Desk, Night Audit, hospitality or guest service experience preferred.
• Experience using PMS, POS and reservations platforms; cash handling accuracy expected.
• Strong attention to detail with reporting accuracy and guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive guest service during overnight Front Desk operations including check-in, check-out, and guest assistance.
• Complete nightly audit procedures including balancing accounts, reconciling transactions, processing financial reports, and closing daily hotel operations.
• Monitor overnight hotel activity and respond promptly to guest requests and operational needs.
• Process guest payments, billing adjustments, cash handling, and PMS transactions accurately.
• Prepare and distribute daily operational, accounting, and occupancy reports for hotel leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel operations, room inventory, reservations systems, and procedures.
• Support room assignments, wake-up calls, and overnight coordination across departments.
• Monitor safety procedures and maintain front desk and lobby presentation standards.
• Partner with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and leadership to support overnight operations.
