Job summary

Carlson Building Maintenance in Woodbury, MN is hiring a Floor Care Technician to maintain floors, clean carpets, operate floor care equipment, and keep a large retail facility clean, safe, and ready for customers. No floor care experience? We can train the right candidate.

This 4-day work week position offers 32 hours per week with overnight hours and a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Weekly pay every Friday, with a consistent overnight schedule and strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull floor care equipment.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, floor care, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment.
• Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing.
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas.
• Perform general cleaning and restroom cleaning as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.
• Complete cleaning projects independently and efficiently.
