Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor for the overnight shift in Lima, OH. You will lead the maintenance staff, schedule work, and ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of repairs for diesel-powered fleet vehicles.

Qualifications

• 3 years performing repairs and maintenance on diesel powered heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Experience with welding equipment preferred.
• Must be able to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff, including training, scheduling work assignments, and overtime approvals.
• Coordinate safety, productivity, and quality; ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Prioritize work to meet operations needs and maintain efficiency.
• Coach and mentor team using SAP programming and assignments.
• Communicate status of fleet vehicles, containers, and equipment to management.
• Ensure the maintenance dept maintains quality and safety standards.
