Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Technician I for ORMC in Downtown Orlando. The role supports cleaning, disinfection, and infection prevention in a fast-paced hospital environment, with a 3rd shift overnight schedule.

You will help maintain patient room turnover and high standards of safety and patient care. Join a team integral to patient care as part of ORMC, the state’s only Level I Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects patient rooms and ancillary areas per procedures.
• Operates health care cleaning equipment and UV disinfection machine as needed.
• Follows infection prevention and PPE guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintains supply levels and supports timely room turnover for patient throughput.
• Uses Bed Management systems and other department technologies where applicable.
