Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services team member to provide cleaning and disinfection of patient and non-patient areas, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to standards, and attention to detail, with duties spanning daily room cleaning, waste handling, and supply replenishment. Training and ongoing safety compliance are required to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Reads and responds to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
• Must complete required mandatory educational training.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to Standards of Behavior and provide excellent customer service in a cohesive team.
• Communicate with patients, visitors and customers using designated scripting and engagement techniques.
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms and ancillary areas according to approved procedures.
• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, and associated areas including floors, fixtures, and equipment.
• Replenish supplies, manage bio-medical waste, and handle linens as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with hospital policies and safety standards.
