Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2+ years in the veterinary field.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations, records review, labs, and imaging.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, administering meds, vaccines, and wound care.
• Assist with examinations, procedures, and animal restraint as directed by the veterinarian.
• Provide nursing care and monitor patients during recovery.
• Help with feeding, grooming, and daily care of hospital patients.
• Maintain patient medical records and manage medications and controlled substances.
