PetVet Care Centers’ Animal Emergency Clinic in St. Louis is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Assistant for a weekend-only shift. You will support veterinarians and technicians with exams, patient handling, and clerical tasks while delivering compassionate care after hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in the veterinary field.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Active RVT license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners and take vital signs on arrival.
• Triage, perform physical exams, treatments, and administer medications per instruction.
• Calm anxious patients and assist doctors with medication and restraint.
• Perform lab tests and take radiographs; operate hospital equipment.
