Job summary

Vanderbilt Health’s Pharmacy Clinical Operations 2 seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to lead specialized medication therapy during overnight shifts in ICUs and the ED. You will develop pharmacotherapeutic goals, monitor regimens, and coordinate efforts to prevent medication errors while advancing patient safety.

Ideal candidates have PGY2 in ICU or emergency medicine or equivalent, or PGY1 with critical care experience.

Qualifications

• PGY2 in ICU or emergency medicine or equivalent experience.
• PGY1 plus experience in critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Reviews drug orders to ensure safe, cost-effective medication use.
• Dispenses medications and provides drug information.
• Monitors and improves medication therapy in accordance with policy.
• Supervises support personnel and verifies accuracy of orders.
