McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Distribution Supervisor to lead a warehouse team, manage shift operations, and ensure accurate, on-time deliveries. You will oversee staffing, training, and adherence to safety standards in a dynamic distribution center.

The role includes a 7 PM overnight shift, competitive pay, and day-one benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus life insurance and PTO. A focus on leadership, safety, and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for leadership in distribution operations.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct and motivate teammates.
• Communicate information to teammates.
• Address and follow up on teammate concerns.
• Coordinate with warehouse leadership and teams.
• Implement procedures to meet productivity, quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Control costs and improve morale and customer value.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment per standards.
• Supervise daily department work and schedules.
• Maintain departmental paperwork and training programs.
• Provide coaching and development for teammates.
• Enforce company policies and safety rules.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and read/comprehend instructions.
• Be an advocate for safety and respond to issues.
• Cover for other supervisors during vacations.
• Be flexible with schedules, including weekends.
• Operate required equipment within 30 days of hire.
• Handle varying temperatures and conditions as needed.
