Job summary

Center for Developmental Disabilities, Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Professional to help individuals with differing abilities live, work, learn and enjoy community activities. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus of $1,000.

Schedule: Tuesday – Thursday 11:00 pm – 9:30 am. The DSP provides consistent support, advocates for clients, participates in trainings, and collaborates with the team to reach shared goals. Required: High School Diploma/GED and NYS Driver's License.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Complete and maintain AMAP and SCIP certification, as per CDD policy.
• Able to stand and bend throughout the day.
• Able to sit for an extended period of time.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid NYS Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all individuals at their site receive consistent support.
• Advocate for those supported.
• Participate in trainings to better understand and support those they work with.
• Work as part of a team at their site(s) to ensure the best support for individuals and to achieve mutual goals.

This position is eligible for rate differentials, with total hourly compensation starting at $20.00/hour and reaching up to $21.50/hour (depending on role & shift).
