Job summary

Harry Meyering Center is seeking a Direct Support Professional for partial sleep overnights to provide overnight assistance to individuals with disabilities in home and community settings. You will monitor nighttime routines, support safety and comfort, and respond to emergencies as needed.

This full-time role offers 30–40 hours per week, including every other weekend, from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with paid training and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and pass a driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, respectful relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Assist individuals with personal care needs (bathing, toileting, feeding, changing).
• Encourage participation in activities at home and in the community.
• Help maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Accurately complete documentation and follow routines and support plans.
• Attend staff meetings and complete required training.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines in all communications.
• Follow health and safety policies.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
