Job summary

Harry Meyering Center, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional for partial sleep overnights in Minnesota. You’ll provide overnight support to individuals with disabilities, assist with routines, monitor wellness, and respond to emergencies as needed.

This is a full-time overnight position with 10:00 PM–8:00 AM shifts, 30–40 hours per week, at $15.00 per hour. You will work in clients’ homes and the community, building relationships that emphasize respect, dignity, and person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must hold a valid United States driver's license and pass a driving record check.
• Prior CNA/PCA/Caregiver or healthcare-related experience preferred, not required.
• Must pass the MN DHS Background Study.
• Willingness to learn and ability to perform daily direct care tasks.
• Ability to perform household chores such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, respectful relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Assist with personal care needs in a compassionate, dignity‑focused way.
• Encourage participation in activities at home and in the community to support wellness.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment for individuals and staff.
• Complete documentation and follow individualized support plans.
