Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Direct Support Professional for an overnight on-site role in Minnesota. You will provide care, safety, and advocacy for individuals, and assist with daily living skills while ensuring personal choices are respected.

The position includes a $2000 hiring bonus and an hourly rate of $13.96, with a potential raise to $14.46 after six months of consistent employment. Responsibilities include transportation, documentation, and attending trainings.

Competenze

• Background check required.
• Experience and/or training with individuals with disabilities is desired.
• Computer skills to support LSS technology and basic math.

Mansioni

• Provide guidance, encouragement, support, and safety through relationship building and direct interaction.
• Advocate for individuals in medical and community engagement, supporting personal choice.
• Provide transportation to appointments and events as requested.
• Maintain documentation and participate in meetings/trainings per regulations.
• Overnight position with roughly five hours of sleep per night, addressing concerns during night and morning hours.
