Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support people with identified needs through person-centered care. The role offers starting pay of $17.00 per hour with a potential raise to $17.50 after six months and a $2000 hiring bonus, in full- or part-time shifts.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, documenting care, and advocating for client rights.

Qualifikationen

• No formal education required; training provided.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Comfort with basic computer use to document care and stay connected.

Aufgaben

• Build meaningful relationships and provide guidance, encouragement, and support.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, hygiene, meals, household tasks, and transportation.
• Support community involvement, social connections, and independent living skills.
• Advocate for rights, needs, and preferences of people served.
• Monitor health and well-being and report changes.
• Complete required documentation and participate in training and meetings.
• Support up to 4 people with identified needs in a residential group home.
• Collaborate with a mission-driven team focused on dignity and inclusion.
