Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Amador City, CA seeks a skilled heavy‑duty diesel mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel fleet equipment, while performing preventive maintenance and maintaining records in the fleet software. You will coordinate with drivers and vendors to plan action and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires 3 years of hands-on experience, Welding ability, and a valid driver’s license. Schedule is Sunday–Thursday night shift with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
• Ability to complete PM programs and document work performed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete repairs on diesel equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Receive road calls and coordinate with vendors and partners on plan of action.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and document repairs in the fleet system.
