Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and Class-A CDL with DOT certification.
• Experience using fleet maintenance software and welding ability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates).
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Receive road calls, coordinate with vendors, and work with partners on plan of action.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Document repairs and parts used in the fleet maintenance software system.
• Provide backup to other maintenance shop personnel.
• Willingness to take on increased responsibility and training.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
