McLane Company, Inc is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support the Delivery Driver in a fast-paced environment. You will unload trailers, place goods in customer-designated storage areas, and help ensure accurate, on-time deliveries while representing the company to customers.

This role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, reading and understanding English, and being 18 or older. The position operates on the 3rd overnight shift with comprehensive benefits and company perks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to lift and move products and pallets up to 75 pounds.
• Must read, write, and understand English well enough to perform job tasks and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2-wheeled dolly.
• Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
• Assist the Driver's efforts to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
