Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support our delivery drivers in Shawnee, KS. This fast-paced, physical role involves bending, lifting up to 75 pounds, and helping ensure accurate and on-time deliveries while representing the company to customers.

You’ll work overnight shifts four days a week and enjoy benefits starting after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, vacation, sick leave, holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Lift and move product and pallets up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform job tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2-wheeled dolly.
• Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
• Assist the Driver's efforts to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
