Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC seeks a Deli Assistant Manager to lead the deli operations inside the store in Buckeye, AZ. You will own daily execution of food programs, drive sales through superb service, and build a strong team while upholding food safety and quality standards.

You will oversee staffing, training, and scheduling, and collaborate closely with the Store Manager to meet store goals. The role emphasizes leadership, customer experience, and operational excellence in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Age requirement varies by state: 18+ in AZ, consistent with local laws.
• Availability: weekends and holidays; Overnight shift (typically 10 PM–6 AM).
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Food Safety Certification required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operations of the deli, ensuring execution of all food programs and standards.
• Lead all food preparation, presentation, merchandising, and promotions to maximize sales.
• Serve as in-store expert on food service initiatives, supporting rollouts and updates.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing deli team with coaching and accountability.
• Manage deli financials and inventory, including waste, cost, and shrink control.
• Partner with Store Manager to align deli operations with overall store goals.
• Deliver fast, friendly, high-quality food experience each shift.
