Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Deli Assistant Manager to lead the deli operations on-site within the store and act as the primary operator of the deli, driving execution of fas craves program and leading a team to deliver craveable food that fuels growth.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will own day-to-day deli performance, manage schedules, control costs, and ensure safety and sanitation while delivering a best-in-class food experience.

• Lead and develop a high-performing deli team.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and health regulations compliance.
• Drive sales through promotions and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day deli operations and drive fas craves standards.
• Lead food preparation, presentation, merchandising, promotions.
• Serve as in-store expert for all food service initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing deli team.
• Provide coaching and manage deli schedules.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and temperature logs.
• Manage food cost, waste, and labor efficiency.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, receiving, rotation, shrink control.
• Drive sales growth through upselling and merchandising.
• Partner with Store Manager to align deli ops with store goals.
• Act as the deli on-site leader and handle issues.
• Deliver fast, friendly, high-quality food experience.
• Weekend/holiday availability; overnight shift as needed.
