GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Deli Assistant Manager to lead the deli team, ensure quality and safety in food preparation, and support store operations in a fast-paced retail setting.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in a food service or retail leadership role, availability for weekends/holidays, and a commitment to customer service and accurate cash handling. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in food service or retail leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead deli team in preparing and serving hot and cold food items with quality, safety, and presentation in mind.
• Monitor food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards in deli areas.
• Order, receive, and organize deli inventory to ensure stock levels.
• Engage customers with a friendly demeanor, product knowledge, and enthusiasm for daily specials and promotions.
• Maintain attractive food displays and ensure proper labeling and packaging.
• Support the Store Manager in daily store and deli operations.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service and drive upsell opportunities.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling deli and store staff.
• Perform cash handling duties, bank deposits, and manage shift financials accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and food safety regulations.
