Sprouts Farmers Market in Buckeye, AZ is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to lead one of our busiest teams and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will help manage deli operations, scheduling, safety compliance, and product quality to ensure healthy options for customers. The role emphasizes teamwork, training, and continuous improvement within a store-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with preferred supervisory experience and knowledge of deli or related food service.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal with ability to take and give direction.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with positive attitude and customer interaction.
• Proven leadership ability to motivate and maintain staff; understand reports and financial goals.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must maintain Food Safety certification and comply with all safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong organization and planning skills; ability to multitask.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team to deliver high-quality product and service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Deli team.
• Unload deliveries and operate deli equipment; ensure equipment safety.
