Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree in business, management or a related discipline.
• Extensive (8-12 years) professional work experience in facilities management.
• Valid driver’s license and active for at least 2 years prior to appointment.
• Accomplished written and oral communication skills.
• Expertise in management, leadership, planning, coordinating, budgeting and implementing large scale facilities activities.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices and safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of electronic QA programs.
• Analytical background with strong customer service skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook skills.
• Ability to handle personnel matters and conflict.
• Ability to develop and implement goals.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and directs the activities of the custodial managers and supervisors for overnight and AM operations.
• Administers policies, procedures, labor agreements and training related to custodial staff.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive and in orderly condition.
• Develops short- and long-range goals and budgets.
• Leads and develops managers and supervisors to achieve service excellence.
