Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook and present hot and cold food items for all meals and events per culinary standards.
• Maintain safe, clean workstation and uphold food safety and sanitation.
• Support effective kitchen teamwork and operations.
• Follow current recipes and product directions for quality results.
• Estimate production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment.
• Walk/stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
