Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook to accurately prepare, portion, cook and present a variety of hot and cold foods in a fast-paced kitchen at Parkview Behavioral Health Park Center. You will follow Sodexo standards for quality, safety and sanitation, supporting a collaborative kitchen team.

The role requires overnight shifts, 0–2 years of related experience, and ability to read and follow recipes. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for development within a flexible environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current standards to ensure high-quality food service.
• Follow recipes and product directions for preparing and serving foods.
• Estimate food requirements and keep production records for planning.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods during shift.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
• Attend work and show up on time for scheduled shifts.
