Sodexo is hiring a part-time Cook I for Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern Pennsylvania. You will prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold items across meal periods and events, while ensuring food safety and quality in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will work with a team to maintain high standards, follow recipes, and uphold Sodexo’s culinary guidelines. Flexible shifts and weekend work may apply; previous kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food handling procedures.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion controls precisely.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and plate a variety of hot and cold menu items.
• Maintain clean and organized workstation and follow Sodexo’s safety standards.
• Follow current guidelines and regulations for food safety and hygiene.
• Assist with inventory, prep, and event catering as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced kitchen with attention to food quality and presentation.
• Communicate effectively with team and support staff.
