United Protective Services in Downtown Austin is seeking a Concierge Security Officer for the overnight shift. This role focuses on a visible security presence and excellent customer service.

You will greet guests, control access, monitor entrances, and perform patrols while upholding security procedures. The position reports to the Site Supervisor / Account Manager and offers training and growth opportunities in a downtown setting.

Qualifications

• Must be alert, dependable, professional, and courteous.
• Capable of exercising sound judgment during overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, tenants, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Provide basic information and directions to guests while maintaining appropriate security protocols.
• Assist with building access and visitor management procedures.
• Verify visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with property procedures.
• Maintain a professional concierge presence at the designated lobby or security post.
• Maintain a highly visible security presence throughout the property.
• Monitor building entrances, exits, common areas, parking areas, and other designated locations.
• Conduct scheduled interior and exterior patrols as directed by site post orders.
• Check doors, gates, access points, and restricted areas to ensure they are properly secured.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, property damage, or security concerns.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and other security-related incidents.
