Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide I for the Admission Discharge Transition Unit in High Point, NC. You will perform designated basic patient care under supervision, supporting nursing staff and ensuring quality care aligned with hospital standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, completion of an approved Nurse Aide I program, registry, and BLS certification; 36 hours per week across three 12-hour night shifts with weekend coverage in a six-week cycle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Nurse Aide I training/competency evaluation completed.
• Nurse Aide I Registry must be current.
• American Heart Association BLS Provider Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ condition and report changes to licensed nurse.
• Document vital signs, height/weight, intake/output and other data.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
• Support treatments and non-sterile procedures as directed.
• Provide one-on-one observation and ensure patient safety.
• Assist admissions, transfers and discharges; help with mobility devices.
