Job summary

Vinfen is seeking an overnight program CNA in Boston to provide direct service and help individuals with daily routines and complex health needs. You will assist with medication administration under MAP guidelines and participate in a rehabilitation-focused, person-centered care model to promote independence and community integration.

The role requires documenting care, monitoring changes, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and upholding safety standards in a supportive living setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in progressively responsible human services functions, with at least one year in the autism community.
• Prior experience as a C.N.A., preferably with people with developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living per treatment plan and ISP (community membership, relationships, vital signs, daily living tasks).
• Monitors individuals for changes in physical, mental, or emotional status.
• Administers medications and treatments per MAP and Vinfen policies.
• Provides for nutritional needs of individuals served.
• Documents nursing care and daily shift notes in the medical record.
• Maintains safe, clean, respectful environment and adheres to safety standards.
• Communicates effectively with supervisor, colleagues, families, and guardians.
