Job summary

Vinfen is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Massachusetts team. You will provide direct care to individuals with brain injuries in a clinically intensive program and administer medications under MAP guidelines, while supporting daily living activities per treatment plans.

Responsibilities include health monitoring, accurate documentation, and collaboration with staff to promote safety and independence. A valid driver’s license and willingness to drive are required.

Qualifications

• Prior CNA experience, preferably with brain injury.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid US driver's license required; driving is a condition of employment.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and perform physically active tasks.
• MAP certification required within 150 days of hire. CBIS certification may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living per treatment plan and ISP.
• Monitors changes in physical, mental, or emotional status.
• Administers medication per MAP and Vinfen policies.
• Provides for the nutritional needs of individuals served.
• Transports and accompanies individuals to medical, dental, and other appointments.
• Maintains a safe, clean, welcoming environment in line with safety standards.
• Documents nursing care and services in medical records and daily notes.
• Communicates effectively with manager/administrator, staff, and families.
• Operates and maintains medical equipment and supplies.
• Attends staff meetings, trainings, and community meetings.
