Job summary

Comfort Keepers #581 is hiring a full-time overnight in-home caregiver for the Cold Spring area. The primary shift is 11pm to 7am, with additional hours possible. Wage starts at $18/hour, or $20/hour if CNA certified. Eligible after 5 months for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

As an in-home caregiver, you’ll help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home, performing ADLs, mobility assistance, medication support, and companionship.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Hands-on personal care such as dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping: bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, laundry.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking as needed.
• Provide conversation, companionship and interactive caregiving.

Comfort Keepers is now hiring a full time overnight caregiver for the Cold Spring area! Primary shift would be an awake 11pm to 7am with additional hours available if interested.

Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Part time and full-time hours available depending on your availability.

About the Job

As an in-home caregiver, you will clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
• Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.

Comfort Keepers Requirements
