Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking an in-home caregiver for the overnight shift in St. Cloud. The position runs 11pm–7am with extra hours possible. Starting wages are $18/hour, with $20/hour for Certified Nursing Assistants, and a free CNA class eligibility after 5 months of employment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship. Must have reliable transport and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

• Hands-on personal cares may include dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.

Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Part time and full-time hours available depending on your availability.

About the Job
