Job summary

Comfort Keepers in St. Cloud is hiring an in-home caregiver for the overnight shift, typically 11pm to 7am. Part-time and full-time hours are available, with wage starts at $18/hr; CNAs may earn $20/hr.

Eligible after 5 months for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, mobility, medication, and companionship. Qualified applicants will have caregiving experience, be 21+, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Available every other weekend and holiday.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation with clean driving record and 3+ years of driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence and Professional Boundaries required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Provide hands-on personal care (dressing, grooming, hygiene, incontinence).
• Light housekeeping (bath, living areas, kitchen, laundry).
• Meal planning, cooking, and baking.
• Provide conversation and companionship.
• Perform Interactive Caregiving.
• Assist mobility with transfer tools/equipment.
• Assist with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Document shift and care electronically.

Comfort Keepers is now hiring an in home caregiver for the overnight shift in St. Cloud. Position is primarily from 11pm to 7am with additional hours available if interested!

Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Part time and full-time hours available depending on your availability.

About the Job

As an in-home caregiver, you will clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
• Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.
