Job summary

Cedarhurst of Lincoln is seeking an Overnight Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to administer medications and provide direct resident care under the Director of Nursing. You will follow individualized care plans, support daily living activities, and document care and medication delivery to ensure safety and independence for residents.

This role requires state-approved certification for medication aides, insulin certification preferred, CPR/BLS preferred, and basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current and active state-approved medication aide/technician certification required.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care services including medicine distribution following an individualized plan of care.
• Observe residents and communicate condition changes to physicians and supervisors with timely interventions.
• Document observations, incidents, and medication administration in the nursing record.
• Maintain a safe, restraint-free environment and assist with activities of daily living.
• Promote wellbeing and assist with transfers, nutrition, and hydration as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings, orient new employees, and support team performance.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Current and active state-approved medication aide/technician certification
