Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.
• Medication Aide Certification Required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to provider instructions and within the scope of your license.
• Document medication administration and any side effects per policy and in accordance with regulations.
• Provide personal care activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Assist in dining rooms to provide resident care and monitoring.
• Initiate and participate in leisure activities for residents.
• Observe and report health or emotional changes to the nurse promptly.
• Respond to resident requests for assistance promptly and courteously.
• Maintain infection control and safety practices; report unsafe conditions.
