Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver in Houston, TX to deliver food and related products across intrastate and interstate routes, including OTR and overnight shifts. You will ensure on-time delivery, product integrity, and professional interactions with customers.

Qualifications

• 6 months commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet PFG MVR requirements for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Meet PFG FMCSA Clearinghouse Requirements.
• Pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Inspect trailer loading, verify freight against invoices, and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure secure locking of tractor, trailer, and freight; unload damaged goods and returns.
• Maintain daily records, adhere to hours of service rules.
