Job summary

Abound Health is hiring for a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional at the McNairy Group Home in Caldwell County, NC. The role supports individuals with I/DD, includes overnight and weekend shifts, and offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include promoting client outcomes, facilitating activities, maintaining treatment plans, and providing respite and companionship. Qualifications emphasize being at least 18, a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and pass checks.

Qualifications

• Promote client outcomes in behavioral, social, and vocational realms.
• Assist client participation in leisure/recreational activities.
• Maintain a schedule of services/activities in a treatment plan and report on health and safety objectives.
• Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver.
• Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines.
• Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities.
• Ability to work independently in the community and/or the client’s home.
