Job summary

Exclusive Caring Partners LLC in Gastonia, NC is seeking Direct Support Staff for weekend shifts in group home settings. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and community involvement, while documenting services and following PCP goals.

The role requires CPR/First Aid, medication assistance, and a valid driver’s license. You must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and work in a home-like environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Assist with medication administration and monitor for medical concerns.
• Support residents in recreational and community activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and incidents.
• Advocate for residents and support personal goals and outcomes.
• Ensure safety and supervision at all times; respond to emergencies.
• Assist with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Attend staff meetings and complete required trainings.
• Provide transportation as needed when individuals are unable to do so independently.
