This position is for private duty care in the Oxford, MS area. Safe and Sound Home Care is a family-owned business dedicated to helping the elderly and disabled live safely and independently at home. Our professional caregivers work one-on-one to assist clients with a variety of needs, including personal hygiene care, companionship, meals, nutrition, and more.

We are seeking dedicated, energetic, and ethical caregivers to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by tending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulatory needs.
• Assist with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Complete client shopping or accompany clients during shopping trips.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency.
• Offer activities essential for daily living, including assisting with meals and other tasks as necessary.

• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Availability to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
