Job summary

Champion Personnel is now hiring for 3rd shift Bulk Cheese Handlers to support Great Lakes Cheese. Starting pay is $18.00/hr for the first 90 days, rising to $22.00–$26.00/hr after that introductory period. Two overnight schedule options are available: Mon–Fri 10:00 PM–6:00 AM or Sun–Thu 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Qualifications

Dependable with excellent attendance
Able to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment
Able to stand, lift 50–100 lbs, bend and move throughout shift
Willingness to work overtime when required
Previous warehouse/production/food processing experience is a plus
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

Handle and move bulk cheese products throughout the production facility
Load, unload, and position cheese for processing and packaging
Assist with preparing cheese for production
Monitor products for quality and consistency
Follow food safety, sanitation, and production procedures
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
Work with team members to meet daily production goals
Perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced production environment
