• Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to communicate with line personnel about quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain area, equipment, and personal sanitation.
• De-box/unwrap cheese from packaging and weigh when applicable.
• Manual measurement and countdown of cheese for customer specs.
• Inspect/clean cheese and maintain accurate production records.
• Keep line stocked with product to avoid downtime.
• Operate cutters and lifting equipment and pallet jack.
• Load cheese into machines for further processing and pack/seal trim.
• Review order specs to perform quality checks against customer orders.
• Direct/communicate to line personnel on order specs and issues.
• Enter data on production reports and communicate safety issues.
