Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery in Greenville is seeking Overnight Bread Bakers who thrive in the quiet pre-dawn hours to bake Stecca bread for shop and sandwiches. You’ll follow recipes, use local ingredients, and contribute to a team that takes pride in quality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be available for early morning shifts such as 12:00 am–8:00 am or 2:00 am–10:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Produces Swamp baked goods including baking, mixing, scaling, portioning recipes and following proper weight standards.
• Follows daily checklists to prepare and bake a variety of unique baked goods.
• Mixes, rolls, and proofs dough using industry standard equipment.
• Follows proper time and temperature guidelines to ensure a quality bake each time.
• Produces beautifully proofed, cut and baked loaves of Stecca.
• Knows how to execute all recipes and procedures with efficiency and accuracy.

Our Overnight Bread Bakers are the backbone of our company, baking our famous Stecca bread for purchase and to be used for our delicious sandwiches. The Bakery team always utilizes the best local ingredients to ensure customers enjoy their experience!

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Produces Swamp baked goods including: baking, mixing, scaling, portioning recipes and following proper weight standards

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS?

AGE/AVAILABILITY

• Must be 18 years of age or older
