Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. seeks a compassionate Behavioral Specialist I to join the Adult Community Clinical Service (ACCS) team. The role delivers evidence-based interventions to adults with severe mental illness in residential or community settings, focusing on recovery and person-centered care.

Responsibilities include modeling positive behaviors, assessing symptoms, supporting recovery goals, ensuring culturally competent services, and assisting with transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Experience working with adults with mental illness.

Responsabilités

• Provide interventions to clients focusing on problem solving and encouragement.
• Assist team with ongoing assessments of client symptoms and responses to staff interventions.
• Support clients in recovery and rehabilitation by developing their goals.
• Ensure services are culturally competent and client-centered.
• Assist clients with transportation to work sites, daily activities, and appointments.
