Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Specialist I to join the Adult Community Clinical Service (ACCS) team.

The role focuses on evidence-based interventions for adults with severe mental illness within residential or community settings, with a commitment to strength-based, person-centered care. The position supports clients in recovery, coordinates with a multidisciplinary team, and requires a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Social Work plus experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Experience working with adults with mental illness.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions focusing on problem solving and encouraging recovery.
• Assist team with ongoing assessments of client symptoms and responses to interventions.
• Support clients in their goals and ensure culturally competent, person-centered services.
