Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide essential peer and operational support to patients during their recovery journey. This per-diem, on-site role reports to the Director of Operations and offers opportunities to gain experience in crisis management and patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Patient Supervision and Safety: Monitor patients and facilities, conduct safety checks, and document incidents.
• Waive Testing: Measure and report vital signs, conduct UDS and pregnancy tests, and comply with policies.
• Patient Interaction and Support: Provide emotional support and refer concerns to therapy staff.
• Communication and Team Collaboration: Share patient information with the Team Leader and collaborate with the team.
• Daily Program and Facility Management: Assist in patient transport, group coordination, and discharge preparations.
