Heritage Behavioral Health Center in Decatur, IL is hiring an overnight Urgent Care Clinician for its 24/7 Behavioral Health Urgent Care and Crisis Observation unit. You will assess, de-escalate, and connect individuals in crisis to needed care during the night, with supervision and training provided.

The overnight role offers independence, broader scope, and completion of full assessments (IM+CANS, ASAM) with a team including Recovery Support Specialists.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation counseling or related field
• Bachelor's degree + 2 years of supervised clinical experience in mental health
• 5 years of documented supervised mental health or substance use experience
• Illinois LPN license or DHS-approved Certificate of Psychiatric Rehabilitation

Responsabilidades

• Greet and triage individuals in behavioral health crisis to determine acuity and safety
• Complete IM-CAT and substance use screening for every individual
• Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and brief treatment
• Conduct suicide risk assessments and develop disposition
• Complete IM+CANS and ASAM assessments during overnight hours
• Coordinate discharge or transfer to appropriate care
• Document timely and accurate in the electronic health record
